Pots For You

Functional pottery helps to create an atmosphere of warmth and generosity in a home. A person who brings pottery for use into the intimate environment of a home or workplace brings so much more than a cup for morning coffee or a bowl for soup. We invite a different system of value by choosing to have and use items that are made slowly, one at a time, with thoughtfulness and heartfelt purpose.

The following are available for purchase. Totals of $100 or more will be shipped free of charge.
Unless otherwise noted, work is high fired porcelain.

Bowls, bowls, bowls. I have these in my studio right now. They are about 11″ across by 5″ tall. Lovely on the coffee table, filled with water and a holiday poinsettia floating…

Here is another style of big bowl…about the same size but a different shape…a touch of red…yum.

Who doesn’t need a lidded jar? A place for your stuff! 6″ tall…

This one is a wee bit smaller…

…and this one has been sold.

Did you say Tall Vases? Here they are…white, turquoise, and butter matte. 13″ tall.
$110…

Here is a brand spankin’ new, fresh out of the kiln, oval vase…or bowl, your call.
$120…

The wall was wheel thrown and attached to a slab bottom that has an impressed “diamond plate” pattern. The light green glaze “breaks” over the pattern…very pretty. The tiny diamond shape “handles” and the rectangular insert in the rim have a white gold luster addition. This would be a classy addition to your collection.

OK, here it is. My favorite of the last firing. Similar to the above but with yellow gold luster. If you turn your head slowly to the left, you will see a place for this in your home or office. 5″x 11″
$140…

Well to the right, then. Turn your head to the right.

  1. Hi Tara, I could use your help. I know that my sister, Linda Humphrey, is an admirer or your work. I’d like to order something for her birthday on June 13 in the $40-$50 range. Have you any suggestions?

I love the picture you have of Shannon’s three cherubs.
