The Aftermath…
September 24, 2012

Great weekend at the Plaza Art Fair. Beautiful weather and lots of fun. Thanks to all who stopped by my booth. An extra thanks to those of you who made purchases! Many new customers, as well as those who have been buying my work for years, walked away with a bag of my new work to enjoy or give as a gift. Acquiring art directly from the artist is a thoughtful and meaningful purchase, making a big difference in our lives. You are appreciated!

There was a lot of interest in my new body of work as well as the news that I am leaving 323Clay in the near-ish future. I will be showing my work at Rafter E Studio in the West Plaza area of Kansas City during the Kansas City Clay Guild Holiday Tour. We will have an official first opening of Rafter E Studio in the early spring. Meanwhile, check out 323 Clay, a local studio of wonderful artists, classes and more.

And…of course I had some pots left over from the Plaza Art Fair. I will be taking them to the Omaha North Hills Pottery Tour, Oct. 6-7. So it will be slim pickin’s after that!

If you don’t live in the area, I will ship pots. Orders over $200 are free shipping. If you live in the area, I will deliver pots to your door.

Click above on my “Pots For You” page to see what is available right now!

Plaza 2012
September 16, 2012

Almost ready for Plaza Art Fair. Here are some images of pots that are packed up, ready to go!

Yes, I’m a bit of a tease. But you can see all of these pots and more this weekend. Booth #316.

I Thought Tara Made Pots…
September 12, 2012

What on earth is she doing now? Are those pottery tools?

And her studio is a mess! …

Are those boards??

She painted them green?

That’s a great color but I thought she made pots. She is making something, though. Look at that big pile of receipts…

That’s right! I made a new booth that you can see at the Plaza Art Fair, September 21-23. Booth number 316…right between Kansas City fiber artist Susan Hill and my favorite wood fire potter Bede Clark.

But don’t worry, I’ve been making pots, as well. Stop by at the fair and see them all glazed up.

See you on the Plaza!
