Prairie Village Art Festival… Booth #6

I have been working on vase forms lately.  You can view some of these on my Instagram…

Although it is absolutely lovely working  in my studio at Rafter E this spring, the garden sure could use some warm, dry days. The roses seem a bit sad…

Break time over! Back to work. By the way, who doesn’t love a good tumble stack?

Weighing In
May 10, 2015

When you cut off a chunk of clay and it weighs exactly what you intended, this is what you get to say outloud in your nice, quiet studio…

Back To Work
May 10, 2015

Thanks to those who stopped by my booth at Brookside Art Annual. I enjoyed seeing friends, regular customers and making acquaintances.

rafter e studio will be closed this coming Saturday, May 16. As always, though, a gallery/studio visit is just a phone call or email away for you anytime.

When your gift giving needs arise, please consider a handmade, one of a kind item at Rafter E.                      Prices range…$20-300.

Next up, Prairie Village Art Fair, May 29-31.

After that…look out Des Moines!

Until then, Back To Work.

A day of tuning pipe organs in Manhattan, Kansas…fortunately, Bracker’s is right on my way home. Stopped in the best lil’ “clay house” in the region for a bag of goodness…

…that will make one of these vases look even better…

Thank you, Bracker’s Good Earth Clay!
